Sunday Sept. 25th, 2-0 Chiefs @ 2-0 Patriots

Fenway Park witness a brutal massacre of the Boston Patriots as the Kansas City Chiefs scalp the Patriots 52 to 14. At the half the game was close, 21 to 7 Chiefs. Second half was the Mike Garrett school on how to run the football as he scored three times. Garrett scored once in the second quarter to give the scat back a 4 TD afternoon, he was unstoppable.

The Chiefs controlled the ground game, passing game and the ball control game with over 36 minutes of offense. Len Dawson was once again very impressive hitting on 19 of 24 pass attempts for 267 yards and TD. The only passing touchdown came on a screen out to Curtis McClinton the fullback and darted off down the field for a 67 yard catch and run. Kansas City moves to 3-0 and Boston falls to 2-1.

    This Chiefs team is really special. I hope you are enjoying Jim Nance’s card as much as I am, he was always one of my boyhood favorites.

    The 1966 Kansas City’s card set is a blast to play, both defense and offensively. Jim Nance’s card is pretty impressive, he produces some great runs in my replay. I still really like those old Patriots uni’s, “Pat” the Patriot was awesome.
