The 0-4 New York Giants travel to St. Louis in hopes of getting win number one on the season. The Red Birds of St. Louis had no intentions of letting the Giants get their first win at Busch Memorial Stadium this Sunday.
The Cardinals completely dominated the ball game from start to finish with the Giants scoring late in the second half during garbage time. The New York Football Giants are willfully horrible in 1966 and the cards from APBA most defiantly reflect them perfectly. Johnny Roland and the Cardinals run game ripped the Giants for 225 yard of offense, Roland accounted for 154 yards and two touchdowns.
Earl Morrall and the Giants offense put-up some pretty good numbers against the Cardinals defense, which surprised me as the Cardinals are pretty solid on defense. The Giants killed themselves on turnovers and giving up four sacks which killed good drives. Leading to yet another loss on the season for the G-Men.
Actual Score: New York 19 at St. Louis 24
APBA Replay Score: New York 10 at St. Louis 26
